I am a first time chicken owner we have five easter egger chickens, and they one brown almost black, one striped with brown black and yellow, and three yellow with brown and black speckles. I sadly had one death that was unpreventable because I had them shipped and it was so sick when it arrived there wasn't much I could do I used information on this site and kept it alive for three dys but the little guy was just to sick to keep on going, and I made this member ship to insure I know exactly what to do in the future, if any of them get sick!! So I am very excited to learn from everyone else willing to share they're knowledge

Thanks so much I am very excited to be a part of BackyardChickens, and easter eggers are a ton of fun I just took them out side and they all decided that they wanted to climb on foot instead of eating the food in the grass Goofy! Thanks hey but how do I start a question up about my chickens like the ones that you cna find from google?
when you have a question - you find a category ( in the forums) that would cover it - for instance if you were asking about incubation - you would post a question in the "incubation and hatching" thread."
Under the current posts will be a choice of post reply or start a new thread. You would pick 'start a new thread." and ask your questions. Then you can click on the subscribe button,so you know other posts had been added (hopefully in regard to your questions)
Hope you can make some sense out of this, I am in no way a techy
