Hello. My name is ChrissyLynn. I have been a chicken momma for one year on March 19, 2018. Had some great experiences with learning very quickly about some quirky things with chicks.
Being new, my husband and I purchased 18 new chicks. We really didn’t do a lot of research before we purchased because my husband worked on a chicken farm frowning up. Me, on the other hand had never really been around them. So, I learned quickly. Researching everything possible. My neighbor says I spoil my chickens...ha! I am their momma!!!
We bought all straight run...learned from that mistake! I ended up with 10 roosters out of 18 birds. Sad, but we had to lessen the flock.
Recently, I had one of my white leghorns get sick and we had to put her down. That was a sad day. Anyways, my other white leggings hen has quit laying since then. It has been several months now. Will she start laying again? She is the only one out of the flock not laying.
Help!!
