(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? - no chickens for me - ducks all the way. We have had our ducks for about a year and a half.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 5 ducks now (started with 6 RIP Anna)
(3) What breeds do you have? 2 Khaki Campbells, 1 Buff, 2 Jumbo Pekins
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Ducks are so rewarding. They are a lot of work but they are so much fun to watch and interact with.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? wood working, painting, learning anything and everything, reading, gardening, fitness fanatic.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Besides our ducks, we have 2 dogs and about 20 head of cattle oh and like a million bees. I am a corporate paralegal and my life with my animals is what keeps my spirits high and not lose myself to the corporate drain.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I have been a long time lurker but have not joined until now. I need advice and help with my ducks. There is a lack of resources for duck owners and I need all the help and info I can get!
