Good afternoon to everybody out there.

I'm new to the forums here but have been interested in chickens for years now. When I was living in the Philippines, I was always surrounded by chickens and eventually I purchased two of them while I was there. Unfortunalty, I wasn't able to keep them when I returned to the States.

I've been thinking about getting a few chickens recently but found out that in Gwinnett County, GA, the ordinances won't allow it. I might be moving up to Tennessee and am hoping that I might be able to own a few there though.

Welcome! The Philippines - that's cool! Sorry to hear that you had to leave your chickens behind. We thought we were not allowed to have chickens either, but the actual law is a sound ourdance about crowing chickens, so we're not supposed to have roosters... lol Hens are just fine....

Good luck with everything! It sounds like you'll get into chickens again soon!!
