I have to say I’ve been a stalker for quite some time. I’ve been lost in all the reading for days on end before I joinedWelcome to the coop! I use the Forums and Articles tabs at the top of the page to do research. You can get lost for hours. It's nice to know you are minutes away from getting help with questions and emergencies!
Welcome to BYC! Enjoy all the great info here!I’m a mom of two wonderful grown kids boy and girl. My husband thinks I’m the crazy animal person but, I believe he loves them as much as I do. We owned and bred horses, chickens and ducks for yrs off and on. I’ve also bred German shepherds for 21 yrs. We left Northern Ky 6 yrs ago and moved to South East AZ. I had to let my flock go when we moved. After we got there it took a year to get started back with chickens. That’s when I got my first turkeys and fell more in love. They were Narragansetts. I loved everything about them. We ended up moving back to western KY last yr, due to my husbands work. I again let my flock go.Well it’s been a yr and a half now and I’m a chicken, duck, guinea, and turkey poor woman
yes, I still breed my dogs. I love them all. I have close to 30 chickens many different full breeds and a few mixed,11 guinea, 9 ducks, and 11 turkeys along with 12 dogs and two horses on 30 acres. No I’m never moving again at least until my kids try and put me in a nursing home
until then I’m enjoying my feathered and furry friends.
