I have been reading a lot of BYC lately and it has been very helpful to me. But now I have a broody hen laying on her eggs and I have candled them and they're starting to peep but I have one that I think has died but I'm not shore. I don't want to take it away just in case I'm wrong. The egg is on day 20 now and hasn't changed in the last 3 days. I can see the chick no movement though and where the air soc is it's yellow and the blood vessels look like there falling apart. Please help me anyone.

You can leave it in. It won't hurt anything. She'll sit for a few days after the first chick hatches giving others a chance and keeping the chicks warm. After she gets off the nest with her chicks you remove all unhatched and partial hatched eggs (some may not survive hatching). She may even kick all those out of nest herself but ultimately you'll be removing them to garbage can in a few days.

Hello :frow and Welcome to BYC! Good luck with your hatch. I usually leave eggs alone at this late stage, unless they are obviously rotten or broken, and just wait until the broody leaves the nest.
