hello muttsfan, Last summer I got 4 hens and a rooster. (because I have woods next to me and behind me). I lost one when it was a chick and one I just found lying in the coop. so now I'm ordering 6 more. I love to watch them chase each other around. especially when one spooks the other and he jumps straight up about 3 feet.
