Hello everyone. My name is Ken Bennison. I am a Canadian living in Nicaragua.

Hello Melky. Why Nicaragua. First of all I have a small pension. Therefore I needed to live somewhere were the cost of living was cheaper than Canada. So I ended up in Nicaragua. My youngest brother and his wife have lived here for a number of years. That is how I came here. Always warm and no snow

It is great to have family there! :frowI have seen this on TV, Most people here go to Florida as cheaper taxes and still in states so can visit family and friends. I notice more retire there versus vacation only if family or friends there. It sounds exciting and warm.

Hello Ken
I am Nicaraguan and living in Florida.
So you're the one sending hurricane Eta over here to us. LOL. How are you guys there, did the hurricane get you where you in the town where you are? What should we expect here? Anyway, going back to chickens, LOL. I only have one and he is a rooster that lives indoors with me.
I live in the mountains. Jinotega is in a valley surrounded by mountains. It rained for five days straight. Interesting fact was that we had no wind. It is the rainy season so it always seem to be raining. I have a beautiful rooster that has become a pet. He sits on my lap and when I pet him he goes to sleep. He spends his nights in the house on a plastic chair

Well, my rooster is still mad at you for sending the storm this way. LOL
