Hi all thanks for the warm welcome. I joined yesterday and have been working on a week old sick chick with a prolapsed vent. We are still fighting because she has spunk so I’m going to give her everything I can to help her!

I’m new to the chick community. I always wanted chickens and am in the process of building my idea of a farm house which includes a place for my girls. Since we are all sheltered in place, it seemed like a great idea to push up the timeline to start my little family. I know next to nothing...oh so much to figure out!

i joined this community to learn more and to get involved with others that share the enthusiasm.

Look forward to learning more and being a part of the flock!

Welcome to Backyard Chickens. I've heard of "prolapsed vent generally the patient is an adult sometimes hen chicken. Please post on the "Emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures," thread.
