Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. You have some excellent layers. Australorps are my favorite standard breed. I've raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds), and they are extremely hardy, calm and gentle (our children and granddaughter made lap pets of them), and excellent layers of large, brown eggs. Thank you all, I have a new baby chicken that my Australorps have mothered from scratch. Amazing how 3 can take care of and share this new addition. I find my Hylines aggressive when a new chicken is added into the existing group.
