I have joined to aid in the learning process. My granddaughter is turning 3 this weekend and we are giving her an experience for her birthday! She is getting chicken coop, three lovely ladies and all the fixings.
. I have never raised chickens before, and luckily I have a great resource for information, as my best friend has become a very experienced chicken lady, lol. My granddaughter loves visiting my friends place and helping to collect eggs and pet the chickens. As a child that absolutely loves animals, I can think of no better way to fill the space of having an animal, learning to care for them which will increase responsibility and work ethic, and provide our household with eggs. I can't wait to get started.

Im sure you will enjoy it very much too. Chickens really are a great way to get kids involved with animal care and outside I the fresh air. The learning centre has some great articles on getting started, here is the link ~
