Welcome! This is a great site full of helpful people. When you get a chance check out the learning center, it is a good place to get lots of information.

What kind of birds do you have? Do you raise the rabbits for meat?

Yes I raise my animals in as safe and free range as possible for my happiness and for food. I have had cancer 3 X when I was younger 17 till 23 and now that I'm married and able to live on a small 5 acer peace of land in buras Louisiana my goal is to be as self sufficient as possible. I'm 38 and I have been planning for years . I'm so happy that it is all coming together nicely. I have pheasants, quail 3 kinds ,chickens , new Zealand white rabbits, and a mixture of duck's.

My biggest problem is I can't keep the duck's out of the pool lol. I have a 1/2 acer pond with an island in the middle they roost there and I haven't lost any in over a year but I can't seem to keep them out of the pool lol. My husband said it's because I think it's so funny I don't run them out every time.

That is quite the Menagerie! You came to the right place, you will find many very similarly minded people here.
