Hey everyone! How are you? I am new to BackYard Chicken and also chicken owning. I have had my flock since July, 2015. I bought four chicks at the store (Wyandotte's) and hatched six chicks at my house (mixes). However, since then, there has been some flock reconfiguration, we are now left with three Wyandotte's and three mixes. The best flock I could ask for! Yesterday marked a huge mile stone for my girls... they layed their first egg! All three of my Wyandotte's layed a beautiful medium brown egg. Any advice that you have to offer is welcomed, I am always interested in learning more about chickens and how to help support my flock! Have a lovely day.
