I'm glad to join here! I've visited this website a number of times ever since we've started a new flock. Not only has this website been helpful and friendly, but I can really relate to a lot of people, especially with rosecomb bantams. I had to join, I'm glad there are people here who can help me if I need it. Sorry for not adding answers to the introduction questions, I'm currently on mobile so I didn't see it until after posting.
I'm not really new to chickens, perhaps new to some breeds, but I've really been raised with them, so I can't say when I was introduced.
It's impossible to say how many we have right now, at this point it's pactically a guess of perhaps 50 or more. Although if you want to count the turkeys, ducks, geese, pheasants, quail, and guinea fowl, there is well over 200 birds.
Some of the breeds I can outright name off the top of my head are Ancona, Java, silver sebright, hamburg, penciled rock bantams, black and white silkies, polish, and many more. Though my favorite being my Splash Rosecomb Bantam.
I found out about this website merely by searching through Google to help my birds.
Some other hobbies revolve mostly around technology, but I do love to just sit with the birds and watch them or hug them if they come to me.

Hi Anisha and welcome to BYC

Here’s a link to the Articles section - https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/ There you’ll find lots of information on almost every aspect of keeping chickens - from coop building ideas, to incubating eggs.

There’s a link on the page above to the Learning Centre - it’s a great resource. If you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.

Each week, various topics are discussed, which can also be a great resource - https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/topic-of-the-week-thread-archive

You may wish to consider joining your state thread as it will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area - http://www.backyardchickens.com/t/270925/find-your-states-thread#post_3239224

All the best

I hadn't actually seen the list of questions until after I posted, sorry about that. I've edited it so it shows the answers to said questions.

No need to be sorry and it's not mandatory to answer those questions. You can post any kind of intro you wish and yours was great. I'm a nosey Parker though and just wondered how many you had :)

Oh, also, one extra thing about our flock. We live in an area where hawks, eagles, and coyotes are common, so we unfortunately can't let them roam free for their safety, we've put a net over their entire fenced in area so nothing can get in or out. Their entire field used to be lush and green but not even a year and they've picked it dry. :( So unfortunately, most of my pictures are over a dirt ground... Not very appealing but don't have much else.. :(
