(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have had chickens most of my adult life, so, lets just say for "several" years...
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Right now I have 1 Light Brahama rooster and 14 hens of various breeds. I also have 3 ducks.
(3) What breeds do you have?
The harem: 4 Buckeyes, 4 Aracaunas, 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 white Silkies, 1 Barred Rock and 1 unknown black hen from Tractor Supply.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I was searching for information on ducks and came across this site. I "lost" the next couple of hours reading threads.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Horseback riding, gardening, target shooting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I work as a project manager for a medical software company, my family is my wonderful boyfriend and my 3 amazing children. Also a part of my family are our 2 dogs, 4 cats, all the chickens, ducks and my horse.
