My name is Grace. I have been reading on this site for quite some time now and I decided it was time to join the community! Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?: No, I am not new to chickens, I got my them back in 2013. I currently take care of our chickens with my brother. How many chickens do you have right now?: We have 16 hens right now, but I think one of our new chicks is a rooster, but I hope she is a hen
. What breeds do you have?: Back in 2013 we mainly had: Buff Orpingtons, Lavender Orpingtons and Jubilee Orpingtons. Right now we only have 2 purebred Orpingtons, a Basque Marrudana hen and (I hope) 2 New Hampshire Reds, 2 Speckled Sussex's, and a Whiting True Blue. The rest are mixes. How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? I have used this site to help my brother and I with some of the problems we have had over the years. What are some of your other hobbies? I love to play video games, write stories and sing! Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. To finish, I have 5 members in my family: An older sister, an older brother, me and my mom and dad. For pets, I have a Bullmastiff named Gus and a very old Boston terrier named Scooby. I am homeschooled and that's about it! I look forward to helping anyone and looking forward to anyone answering my unlimited questions!

I think I wrote that wrong... I meant, I hope that I have 2 new Hampshire reds 2 Sussex and a Whiting True Blue. Sorry about that!
