(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Although I have been around Chickens for a few years, I am new to raising them myself. I got my first set of chickens about 4 days ago. I have 1 Road Island Red Rooster, 5 Road Island Red Hens and 1 Easter Egger.
Along with 2 breeding pair of ducks. I am not sure of the breed. They are all black with a green tint when the sun hits them.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
7

(3) What breeds do you have?
Road Island Red and Easter Egger

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Google Search

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Right now taking care and constantly checking on my animals. I love animals and I bet that I am outside 5x a day just checking them and walking around. I have always wanted a farm and finally have some land now.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

As stated, I have always wanted a farm. I got with my now husband of 2 years and found out his family has 140 acres of land but it is in airship. No one uses the land and I think it's sad. Only deer hunting is what they use it for, only 3 people. They deeded off roughly 2 acres of land for our house and whatever else. I finally have my chickens and ducks but definitely want more. My husband is talking with them about cows and fencing in some of the hillside. I'm excited to say the least. Lol
We have 1 son. I am 26 and my husband is 28. Our son is 5.

I wish you all the best in expanding your flocks. With land available I'd say that most of us would have a chicken/duck maths meltdown :D
