Hello, my name is Craig. I've been gleaning information from the forums here for a few months now, and I decided it was time to contribute. Ducks have become my newest hobby. I was given a year old Cayuga female and 4 young Pekins the beginning of spring. The Pekins were supposedly two pairs, but there are no drake feathers on any of them yet. I'm thinking they're most likely all female.
For many years I raised and bred New World Cichlids. I got into a bit of a rut and haven't done anything on that front for some time now. I'd like to throw myself into the duck genetics game. Spending the rest of my life trying to build something unique. A new breed, even if it's only recognized by me lol. I purchased 5 somewhat local Wood Duck eggs that i'm pretty excited for. They should be hatching pretty soon. You will certainly see pictures.
