I am a father of five and so far a grandfather of five. Lol. I grew up with chickens, ducks, turkey, horses, cattle, ect. I live in Louisiana and have always had chickens. Just recently getting into quail. I am a simple country boy and usually straight to the point. If you want to know something ask me. I hope I enjoy it here.

I am raising mine for meat and eggs. Might let my grandsons have a couple pets to though. I was not going to start until my commercial cages came in but I found a guy selling a&m quail at six weeks old for a dollar each so I jumped on it. When he realized he made a pricing mistake r would only sell me a few so I grabbed what I could and rushed my order for my commercial cages. Lol I will have 20 birds in cages designed for 60 when they come in next week.
