Glad you’ve decided to join! Welcome to BYC, where we happily assist our fellow members in the quest to master chicken math. Your new chicks don’t count as chickens because they might not thrive. Hens don’t count because they are working at laying eggs IE, your employees. Your main roosters don’t count because they are your security guards and alarm clocks. Extra roosters don’t count because they are food.
This concludes your first lesson. Please refer back when you’re incubating. In the meantime, please share photos of your coop, garden, other animals, past flocks or anything that you want to share.
