I am a first time chicken mama here. I was expecting 12 hens back in March and ended up with 19... not sure of the sex or breeds. I do know I have 8 Leghorns and 8 Silverlaced Wyandotte’s and maybe 2 Jersey Giants and 1 big ? All but 7 seem to be around 7 weeks old now with the other a little bit older. I think I’m hearing a little rooster but still can’t tell who it is yet.
So far this group has been really helpful when I’ve had to make final decisions about our coop. I’m happy to say I’ve follow the advice of some members already.
