Hello, and welcome! Glad that you joined! What breed or breed's of chick's did you get?

We have 2 ISA Browns, 2 Production Reds, 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Golden Comets, 2 Sliver Laced Wyandottes, 2 Blue Laced Wyandottes, and 4 Americanas . (Easter eggers, not pure breeds).

Their names are Spunky, Diamond, Blue, Trix, Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Jewel, Maple, Cherry, Clover, Spade, Vanilla, Latte, Mocha and Hazel

 

[Ladies-Eight]

I’m Baba and as mom of 5 and Baba of 2, I have for the first time ever decided to dive into owning chickens. I joined because in my research I’ve read many great and informative posts on this forum!

We are halfway done building our coop! And our 16 new occupants are happily growing well in our garage, and will be ready for outside in just a few more weeks!

I remember stories of my Great Baba, who had a homestead. And every year they would go buy 250 chicks!!! My Great Baba would block off her kitchen and the chicks would stay in there until big enough to go outside. I can’t imagine the mess!!! But I guess u did what u had to do back then.

Well, I am very excited to learn from all of you! And look forward to great conversations in the future!!!

Hi!! And yes I have pictures . I have two lovey ladies (ISA Browns) who love my husband. As soon as he walks into the brooder they fight over each other to get to him. It’s crazy and very entertaining! Not sure I can compete with two ladies!!
