Hi I'm AstroDuck! If you couldn't already tell from my name, I'm a huge science nerd (especially astrophysics) and duck lover! I have Dutch Hookbills, Runners, Rouen's and Mallards who live on our little farmette along with my husband, two boys and dogs. I've been around all types of poultry almost my entire life and started raising ducks when I found out I had a chicken egg allergy and wanted to try duck eggs as an alternative (I was pretty desperate for an omelet after going years without eggs). As crazy as it sounds I'm almost thankful for the chicken egg allergy because our ducks have really become a part of our family. We even put a little park bench out by the ducks because we like to sit out there to feed them veggies while we stargaze. Looking forward to being here and taking part in the poultry forum fun!
