(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am very new to chickens and I got my chickens in early October 2020.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have 3 chickens. I got them when they were 3 weeks old and now they are almost 8 weeks old, big girls now!
(3) What breeds do you have? I have a hybrid Australorp, a white leghorn and a Hyline brown.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? It is very relaxing to watch the chickens roaming around.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Watching movies or playing simple games.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have a dog, very gentle and angelic, but it seems she feels some kind of jealousy towards the chickens....
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I had a number of questions about chickens and this forum helped me with my questions since May 2020 when I got interested in chickens and started researching about it. I finally decided to join BYC as I do have a question to ask.
