(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I've lived on a Farm my whole life. I was raised a farm girl and I can't live life any other way!
I love being surrounded by animals.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Right now I have 52 layers and 22 chicks.
(3) What breeds do you have?All breeds. But my favorites are sapphires. They are jusy so pretty!! But to name a few, Barred Rocks, Buff Orpingtons,Polish(all colors), French Wheaten Marans,Easter Eggers,Sapphire Gems,Light Brahma,Starlight Olive Egger.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I love being able to know where my food is coming from. Being able to walk outside and pick up breakfast.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I live on a farm, so I love spending time in the barn, with my dog Cash. I also love spending time outside in general, hunting,fishing,hiking.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have more pets than I can count lol. I habe beef cows, chickens, rabbits, dogs,cats,fish,turtles,goats,sheep and pigs. I am a preschool teacher in a therapeutic school but I am currently getting my Social worker degree. I look forward to hearing all the advice!

I am always opened to other advice and knowledge. Someone mentioned it on Facebook and I had to join!
