(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am new to chickens. We got our first batch? of chickens on 4/25/21
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 10 chickens and 4 ducks
(3) What breeds do you have? I believe we have some Rhode Island Reds, White Leghorn and I am not sure of the others
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Being able to teach my kids responsibility and caring for others before yourself; also, the eggs lol
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Photography
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We have 3 kids (14, 8, 7) We work together for a local pest control company, and we are thrilled to finally be able to have a home for chickens and ducks. My husband has raised both multiple times throughout his life and he is excited to share this with me.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
