Hi, my husband and I are new to chickens. We have 8 chicks that are 7 weeks old. 7 silkies and an Easter egger. We were given eggs by a friend. Two easter eggers hatched. One only lived a few hours. The eight are doing well and growing fast! They're so interesting and we really enjoy sitting and watching them be chickens! Anytime I've had a question about the chicks, this is the site I found quite helpful. I enjoy reading about everyone's chicken stories!
