Hi all! I’m so excited to join this forum! My family and I have been slowly building our own little homestead oasis in the middle of nowhere Virginia! Last year we started with chickens and unfortunately had an incident with a fox that broke the kids and our hearts! But we didn’t give up! My husband spent all winter fortifying our mini house and big hen house we have for them as they get older and move out, then move into once they’re grown. We weren’t letting ANYTHING happen to them this year! I love checking out all the posts and seeing what kind of chickens there are and what I can do to better our flock! Everyone here is so kind and welcoming in all the posts I read so I figured I’d join and give it a shot! It’s been hard getting chickens this year as TS has none and that’s about it where we live. Luckily I’ve found some people with their own and we’ve been slowly getting chicks to add! I’m excited to be here and share our families adventures with you, while learning so much from all of you at the same time! Thanks for having us! Nicole and family
