I've wanted a few hens for years and we're finally taking the plunge. I'm a mom of two young kids (a 2 y/o and a 5 y/o) and we've finally got a coop set up. Our hens are due to arrive either later this afternoon or sometime tomorrow. I'm sure we'll have a blast and expect to come here frequently with questions. This place has already been a great resource as I've been lurking for quite some time. Hoping that by next spring we're seasoned enough to be able to let the kids enter 4-H just for the fun of it.
