hello everyone

I am new to the whole chicken raising thing. I got acouple white leghorn hens because my son wanted to get the eggs. Seeing as i live on 9 acres I figured what the heck. Now I have enjoyed them so much I decided to build a bigger coop and add to my flock. So now I have 5 guineas and 6 leghorns, 5 semaras and a deleware bantum rooster. I will be getting some dominique chicks this Oct. Thanks to herechickchick for the bantum rooster "Carl" and also for the info to this site. I hope to have a long life with these silly little birds. and I also look to add to breeds and amounts I have. I will have to post some pics of them soon. Also does anyone have Semaras? Some good info on them would be helpfull.
