I go by Headstrong569 I am a published poet and dad of 8. I am very interested in learning new ways for my family to eat healthy and control what goes in or on our foods, as well as keep food cost down. My family and I all enjoy eggs so I figured why not raise our own chickens for the eggs we need. I am extremely new to this entire concept but I am excited to learn as much as I can. I think coupled with our organic garden we will have even more healthy chemical free foods to enjoy. Our goal is to one day become almost totally self sufficient for our food purposes.

Yeah, I get that a lot. Actually, redsoxs is computer generated username from an old account I no longer even use. But, it was easy to remember so I stuck with it. I'm actually a K.C. Royals fan even though they haven't given me much to cheer about for the last 30 years!!!
