I just wanted to say hello to everyone! I am new to BYC and am looking forward to chatting with you. I just got 2 beautiful Buff Orpingtons this past weekend. These are my first chickens in 45+ years. (My parents raised Rhode Island Reds when I was a youngster.) I named them ClaraBelle and Mitzi and they are such sweet girls. It is fascinating just watching them interact with each other. I hope to post some pictures of my beautiful girls in the near future. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Welcome from West Virginia! I also have two Buff Orpingtons; a rooster and a hen. They are beautiful birds. Mine don't like being touched and heaven forbid you pick one of them up for some reason! Good Luck with your new chickies! oh, and fair warning...we LOVE chicken math on this site!!!
