hello everyone
ive been wanting some chickens and we took the plunge today. we got 3 bantam mille fleur chickens for our 1st try. after getting home I had to do a search to read more about them which lead me here.
I hope we didn't get 3 roosters, I haven't read a good report on them yet. we made a small cage for them from one of our dog cages and have them in the house for now.
we got 2 light brown and a black one. I also took some chicken wire and made a small pen so I can get them in the grass. our boxer (dog) wanted one bad and picked one up. me and the boxer had a talk and the little chick is doing fine now. where I bought them only had these and I wanted some chickens. I now know I will get some more that will produce larger and more eggs in the near future.
