I just "adopted" 3 hens and a rooster... free they said, well, after spending 90 $ just for food and feeders and nisting boxes... not so free anymore
Love them. They are pretty tame and eat out of my hand However, I think they have mites, lots of feather loss and some scaly thing is going on on one of the hens legs.
Any advice on how to combat the mites? My local feed store said use skin so soft, a friend said I have to "dust" them...
Would be so happy about some ideas
