I am on my second try of raising chicks due to neighborhood dogs but now that I've taken care of that issue I've got 13 babies I'm raising. I know two are Silver laced Wyandottes....that's about it.

I hope you managed to get your runaway chick back? She's probably lonely without her friends. Chickens are very social creatures and love hanging out in groups.

Oh yes my daughters friend lives behind us and recognized the chicken right away. Thankfully she hollered across the fence and asked her if she wanted it back.
