One of our orpies decided that early November is a perfect time to go broody!

We have buckeyes, buff orpingtons, barred rock, speckled sussex and some mixes our busy hens produced this year. The buckeyes are our favorites! Our ducks are Cayuga, Silver Appleyard, and White Appleyard. We also have 2 pairs of American Buff geese. Thank you for the warm welcome everyone!

I don't know much about the ducks, but I've had all of your chicken breeds at one time or another over the past 50 years (still have Buff Orpingtons), and you have some good, hardy, dependable, dual-purpose breeds. Good luck with your flock.
