I'm still relatively new! I've had chickens for about a year now!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

Right now I have 5 hens and 2 roosters.

(3) What breeds do you have?

Bantam mille fleur cochin, silkie roosters, ameraucana, barred rock, black laced wyandotte

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?

Internet searching for chicken info!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

Keeping chickens, gardening, crafting rustic farm house style home decor!

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I am engaged to my partner of almost 7 years and we have 2 indoor cats! :)

BYC has Topic of the Week articles which I have found to be a great resource and a one stop shop for questions which may have already been discussed within the BYC membership group.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
