Hi Beth, Welcome to Backyard Chickens, the pulse beat of the chicken community.

HI! I am Beth, AKA crazy chicken lady!

I have about 70 chickens, mostly hens of various sorts for laying eggs, but also have Lavender Orpington breeding trio along with my Rare Isabel Orpington breeding trio.

Just finished building a 10 ft X 28 ft chicken mansion, complete with 2 breading rooms, brooder room and hen house. Currently working on outside run. Girls also get to free range on our 3 acres when we are home and monitoring for predators, along with our LGDs.

I look forward to learning more and contributing to the group.
