hello fellow chicken lovers!

I am from western NY state and started raising chickens this past April. For my birthday in April, I received 6 red sex link baby girls, 2 Rhodes Island Reds, a Golden Comet, 2 Arucanas, and a Barred Plymouth Rock. They have grown into beautiful chickens and about half of them are laying now. In June, we added 6 Silver Laced Wyandotte chicks to our farm. I have followed this site since April and now I am a member. I can't say enough how much I enjoy raising these girls (seems like I should get more sometimes!)- but I'm sure you all can relate!
