(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am not new to chickens. I got my first birds about 18 years ago and had them for about 2 years. My current batch was started about 3 years ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 28 chickens as of now.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Buff Orpington, French Copper Maran, Black Sex Links, White Leghorns, Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks, Gold Wyandottes, and Americaunas.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love to watch them forage and dirt bathe!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Kayaking, hunting, and auto repair.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My wife and I have a Chocolate Lab and 2 indoor/outdoor cats. Looking to add a goat in the near future!
