Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I'm not super new! I've had chickens before (micro bantams- serama rooster and his 2 girls, indoor pets like 13 yrs ago)
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Oh uh... 9 plus a dozen in incubator and soon quail
(3) What breeds do you have?
Light brahma, buff orphington, easter egger, silver laced wyandotte, golden laced wyandotte, black austrolorp, 2 mini booted , and I cant remember the last one
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
they are fun and goofy lil things. The pooping breakfast is a bonus
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
hanging with my dogs, gardening, and video gaming
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share
well, my husband and I are a gay couple raising our son and 4 dogs (2 great danes , a terrier and toy aussie)
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found ya guys actually about 2-3 yrs ago and hemmed /hawed over joining. I'm starting to hatch my 1st eggs so i figured why not
