Hi, I have lurked on this website for years reading articles and posts. I only just became a member though - I know, I know, shame on me!
I've had chickens for several years, my first were from Bucheits(will ALWAYS be my favorite place to buy hatched chicks) but I incubated some eggs a few years back for a college class and am doing it again. I've had everything from the classics(Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks, Wyndotes, etc) to Polishes, a Sultan-Ameraucana, and a Bantam. Love trying new breeds!

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
