Hello forum! I found a little duck egg and I need advice!

I'm an animal-adorer from Canada! I have a little parrot and a snake and recently found an abandoned duck egg. No nest, no mom. I took it in and made a makeshift incubator. I hope it hatches

Welcome to BYC! I hope it hatches for you. There is plenty of information on incubators and hatching eggs with them if you have any questions about the process and what to do when. Have you candled it to make sure it is actually a fertile egg that is developing?

Are you absolutely sure? I would keep it in the bator for a couple of days to be sure. Please read the many threads on incubating here on the site. Most people give a "dead" egg a couple of days. Was your temp and humidity right?

how little ? duck eggs are usually larger than chicken eggs..
or did you mean the duck was little ?
anyway, too bad it didn't make it..
