Hi everyone!
I currently live in a house in the burbs of the Lower Mainland in British Columbia, Canada with my husband, toddler, 2 small dogs, cat and fish

We've been looking into moving to a bigger property and having a hobby farm (we have lots - read everything - to learn!). But, for now we've realized we can keep quail without having to move! I'm super excited. We've been doing research and hope to get a small cage or coop going in the next week or two so we can get started, and then we will work on building a nicer, bigger coop for the back yard. I'm super excited! We'll start out with a few Coturnix. I'm trying to figure out where to get them from and haven't found many sources so far. There is one or two listings on Craigslist and I found one farm that is a reasonable distance to drive through if they have some available. I thought you guys might be able to help me direct my search?

Hi and welcome to BYC - glad that you have joined us. If you search for "list of Canadian breeders" you will hopefully find a list of breeders, but it's likely to be a bit dated and I'm not sure if it includes quail.

Where do I find that/under what section? I don't see it and clearly am a newb :) I'm also mobile at the moment and I know i found last night that I couldn't see everything on mobile vs on my iPad...
