Thank you for the welcome. We love our buffs, and they are spoiled like puppies. I was just out in the yard feeding them sunflower seeds (two of the girls flew onto my lap and were telling me to hurry up), from seed heads I gathered in the garden a few weeks ago. I always let a dozen or so grow from last years sunflowers, for the pollinators. The honeybees love the flowers, and the chicken love the seeds. So far our 3 roosters get along. Reggie, the Light Brahma is quite a bit bigger than Louie and Ollie, and they seem to give him respect, even though he's the gentle giant of the run. Thanks again for the kind words and warm welcome.Welcome to the roost. I really like your run and coop set up. I have two BO and love them. One of them is my cuddle bug (Lysette). Seorgiena is hit or miss with the want for attention. LOL Neither have started laying yet (16 weeks). We had a similar situation, as I wanted chicks, but my husband was slow to get onboard. I just got mine this past April and May. We had 3 cockerels in the first set of five EEs. I had to rehome them, but they all still get along, and they even went to home with a 2 year old rooster. So, there is hope.I wish you much success with your flock!
