Hello from a newbee in Powhatan, VA!

Wanted to say a quick hello to everyone, and to thank you for all the great info on getting started. I had a nice coop built for me by a great gentlemen and now I am constructing the run and free range area according to everyones hints and thoughts of keeping it as "predator safe"! Should have everything finished so we can head to the Powhatan Swap at Tractor Supply down the road Saturday. Although the weather is not looking great. Hope they still hold it, if not the back up plan is to head to Hertzlers for my first batch of hens!
