Hello from a newbie in Kansas!

Hello everyone! My name's Brittany and I live in Kansas. I currently live in a suburb of Kansas City that doesn't allow chickens (boo!) but am saving money as fast as I can to move to a bit of land outside town where I'm free to raise as many as I want. I've always been passionate about animal husbandry, and have cared for a wide variety of critters before, but my only experience with chickens is in my grandparents' stories and at the local petting zoo. So I'm learning as much as I can before the big move! Also the constant daydreaming helps it not feel so far away
