Hello, I have four chickens a Silver Laced Wyandotte, Buff Orphington, Barred Rock, and Isa Brown. I know a little bit about chickens however I would like to know more i found this site and thought PERFECT! (1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am not new to chickens this is my second flock I first got chickens around two and a half years ago.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Right now I currently own four chickens.

(3) What breeds do you have? Silver Laced Wyandote, Buff Orphington, Barred Rock, Isa Brown.

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? Though the internet and scrolling through random chicken websites.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?I play basketball, soccer, track, swimming, and tennis. i also enjoy reading a book or playing with my dog and of course listening to music.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have a dog named Cooper I love him so much lol. I have two younger siblings my chickens names are Cora, Sunny , Poppy, Sadie.

Hi, I am also new to this forum. I have 2 Barred Rocks (don't ask) named "Speckles 1, 2", A Rhode Island Red, named of course "Red", a golden chicken named "Goldie" (anyone know her breed?) and a beautiful white girl with black ruff and wing tips (also unknown breed?). They are all pretty healthy and happy in their refurbished shed coop -- all laying in same nest. But Speckles 2 has been molting (I think) for about 3 months and is laying shell-less eggs. Any ideas what I need to do for her? Supplements? Thanks, clueless in Colorado.
 
Hello, Nice to meet you! So basically you are saying your Barred Rocks are laying soft eggs? I think what you might need are some oysters.
