Hatching
I have just joined! I had 2 blue marans (bluebells), Brenda and Dory, for my birthday. They live in an Eglu, which we picked up 2nd hand in the autumn, but we waited for spring to arrive before getting the residents. We are keeping them for pets with bonus eggs. Although we had a few chickens 14 years ago, it wasn't a great success (foxes had them) so this time I am determined to get it right! I am looking forward to learning and getting lots of hints, tips and advice from this community

I've seen the eglu and they look great!! Being predator proof is one of my top tips too. I lost my flock due to a fox attack too thinking I was safe and I clearly was not.
Good luck.
