hello from across the pond

Hi, I'm from a village near Northampton in the UK.
I've kept a few pet chickens for about 3 years now. I have quite a mixed flock - top girl & chief layer is my bluebell Pickle,
followed by Rolypoly a buff orpington who's been spayed (long story) so just for cuddling, Pip the hilarious bantam leghorn,
Spotty a bantam light brahma, and Smidge my cockerel, a light blue bantam brahma, who looks after them.
They free range my garden 99.9% of the time, we love them to bits & cant imagine life without them.
Spotty also has 2 chicks at the moment which I am in a delema about, which will be my next post!

I love their names. Especially Rolypoly because it reminds me of my finch named Mud. I don't know why but it just does.
